Poland: Construction Contract for Majaland Gdansk Signed
Representatives of Plopsa Group, Momentum Leisure, Momentum Capital and CFE Polska sign construction contract for Majaland Gdansk.
After Majaland Kownaty (2018) and Majaland Warsaw (2021), another Plopsa theme park is being built in Gdansk. For the construction of the third park on Polish soil, the Plopsa Group joint venture and Momentum Leisure (part of Momentum Capital) now signed a contract. The Belgian company CFE, which has already implemented the other two parks in Poland, which together welcome 600,000 visitors per year, was commissioned with the construction of the new park as general contractor. The new park on the Baltic coast in the north of the country is scheduled to open in summer 2024. A total of 27.5 million euros is being invested in the construction of the new park, which is expected to attract 300,000 visitors per year.
