RES Rides: Willy Walser Hands Over Management to Roman Rothe

(eap) The Swiss attraction manufacturer RES Rides has a new Managing Director: Roman Rothe – RES partner and rides engineer from the very beginning – is taking over the leading position from RES Rides founder and former CEO Willy Walser. Roman Rothe has a total of around 15 years of experience in the leisure industry. Prior to his position as Technical Director at RES, Rothe worked for more than four years as Leader of Design & Engineering alongside Walser with abc rides.

Willy Walser, who has worked in the industry for a total of 45 years, thanked his customers and business partners publicly: “It has always been a great pleasure and honor to work with you on a wide range of projects – from water and dry leisure facilities, from small to large installations. We have realized many visionary ideas with passion and commitment, and your trust has contributed significantly to our success”.

“Roman Rothe knows our industry inside out. For 15 years, he has been designing and implementing impressive projects with great expertise and creativity, including numerous large-scale installations. I am convinced that he will not only fill my position, but will exceed your expectations,” added Walser.

Walser also announced that he will remain part of the RES team and will continue to actively support it. ■
