Ritter Rost Magic Park in New Ownership

(eap) Ritter Rost Magic Park in Verden has new owners: Bastian Lampe and Tom Becker have officially taken over the park from Dr. Fabrizio Sepe. Bastian Lampe, who has managed the park for over five years, will remain responsible for the management of the park as Managing Director. Tom Becker, who specializes in renewable energies with his companies John Becker Ingenieure and REON, will accompany the park as co-owner.

Ritter Rost Magic Park was previously a subsidiary of Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen GmbH. A flood at the turn of the year 2023/2024 hit the Hodenhagen animal and leisure park hard and led to considerable financial damage. The company saw itself obliged to raise around 2.2 million euros to be able to resume operations without restrictions. “At that time, we considered the sale of the Ritter Rost Magic Park as an option. I am very pleased that buyers have been found in the previous Managing Director Bastian Lampe and the entrepreneur Tom Becker, who will continue to run the park with a great deal of personal commitment and conviction for the project,” explains Serengeti-Park owner Dr. Fabrizio Sepe. “I wish them and the entire staff all the best and many successful years ahead. We will remain friends with Magic Park.”

“The park will remain a place where children and families can experience adventure and imagination. We want to develop it into a place of magic and wonder,” emphasizes the new co-owner Becker. Becker and Lampe have strong roots in the region and have already worked together on various park projects in the past. Their passion for theme parks and their shared goals are supposed to further strengthen Magic Park Verden. ■
