Rome: Diocletian Baths: “Museum of Daily Life in Ancient Rome”
After 30 years, the first area of the Roman emperor’s Diocletian baths has finally been reopened, a hall 40 metres long and 25 metres high. This is to be turned into a “Museum of Daily Life in Ancient Rome”. The Diocletian baths (built between 298 and 306) are one of the largest spa facilities in Rome with room for around 3,000 bathing guests. (eap)
