Russia: Western Siberia’s New LetoLeto Waterpark to Open in June
Covering a site of 13 hectares, a new waterpark and a belonging hotel are currently under development in the Western Siberian city of Tyumen. Under the name LetoLeto the leisure complex, which is developed by Russian Sibintel Holding, is scheduled to officially open in June this year, offering year-round bathing fun on an area of 50,000 square meters. Counting more than 70 different water attractions, the tropically themed waterpark will be aimed at families: Besides a lazy river of 570 cubic meters and a 750 square meter wave pool, bathing guests can look forward to eight thrill slides such as speed slides, starting from two towers with a respective height of 16 meters and 21 meters. For children, the waterpark will offer a 1,300 square meter large kids zone with numerous water play attractions. The daily capacity of LetoLeto waterpark is stated with 2,500 guests. All water attractions are supplied by Turkish manufacturer Polin Waterparks.
For a multi-day stay, the water park will feature an adjacent hotel, dubbed LetoLeto Hotel. The accommodation offer will comprise 187 rooms, including 14 deluxe rooms and seven rooms equipped for disabled guests. Furthermore, the four-star hotel will offer two conference rooms and free parking for 700 cars. Additional offerings such as a sauna and spa area, bars and restaurants, a fitness center and sports grounds will complete the leisure complex. (eap)
