Saarbrücken/Germany: Erlebnisbad Calypso Adds Looping Slide

Saarbrücken, Germany’s Erlebnisbad Calypsobathing facility recently announced that it will build a new unique attraction, which is due to open in December of this year. Guests of the bathing facility operated by vivamar Betriebsgesellschaft Saarbrücken mbH can look forward to a looping waterslide featuring a start capsule and a freefall element. “The project took us months of intensive work. Now we are keen to finally implement our theoretical ideas,” explains Harald Gabriel, CEO of vivamar. Visitors can experience up to 2.6g while taking a ride on the new looping slide, which is available for guests aged 10 or older and weighing between 45 and 130 kilograms. The nearly 90-meter-long slide, supplied byAquarena, will be the fourth slide of the facility. (eap)
