SeaWorld Orlando Announces New Coaster for 2024

(eap) Next year, a new Family Launch Coaster will make its way to SeaWorld Orlando. Called “Penguin Trek”, the 920 meter long ride will feature both indoor and outdoor sections and take passengers on an expedition to the Arctic at a maximum speed of 68 km/h (43 mph). Visitors from a body height of 1.07 meters (42 inches) will be allowed to ride, what makes the coaster suitable for the whole family. The coaster is being built by Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M), who also supplied the all-new “Pipeline” surf coaster to the park, which opened in spring this year. ■
