Singapore: Resorts World Sentosa Opens All-New Genting Hotel Jurong

Tomorrow Resorts World Sentosa’s (RWS) all-new Genting Hotel Jurong will start into a soft-opening phase before it will officially be opened for guests on May 27, 2015. The 15-storey hotel with 557 rooms will be the first major hotel in the Jurong Lake District and a 25-minute drive away from RWS. Hotel guests can take a 24-hour shuttle bus that runs continually between the Genting Hotel Jurong, which is located along Jurong Town Hall Road, and RWS. A pillar-less ballroom spanning 426.6 square meters with a capacity of up to 300 guests and five meeting rooms is available at the hotel for seminars, conferences and corporate events. At the same time the new hotel offers a “hotel in a garden theme” design concept featuring a sky lounge with a roof-top garden from which expansive views of the Jurong Lake District. With this new hotel the 49-hectare Resorts World Sentosa, which will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year, offers a total of six hotels. (eap)
