Skiing Fun in any Weather at Romanian Aprilia Park
(eap) The Romanian Aprilia Park, a water park with some additional sport facilities open since 2011, expanded its range of activity offers with a ski slope that can be used all year round. The “year-round” ski slope from Neveplast now allows guests to enjoy skiing and snowboarding in Gorj County even in warmer temperatures.
“After a long journey of efforts and hopes, thousands of cubic meters of earth moved, countless hours of work, the collaboration of hundreds of technicians and collaborators, the commitment of dozens of machines, all completed in a timeframe of just twelve months, the Aprilia Park complex has inaugurated the Neveplast ski track, accessible year-round,” the park announces.
The artificial ski slope is 311 meters long and offers a total area of 7,000 square meters. A conveyor belt transports guests up the hill. In addition to the ski slope, three tubing tracks have also been installed running alongside the ski track – two straight tracks and one with a curved layout.
“We are very proud of this project in Romania, a country boasting around a hundred ski resorts, some even internationally renowned, and with a growing trend in winter sports tourism,” explains Neveplast CEO Niccolò Bertocchi. ■
