Italy: Neveplast Launches New Product SKLIDE

Italian manufacturer Neveplast is best known for its TUBBY slides, which can be used all year round and on which young and old alike glide downhill sitting in tubes filled with air over slopes covered with a special plastic coating. Now the supplier is expanding its product range with a new attraction dubbed SKLIDE. This has been specially designed for children aged four and over and can be installed and used with little effort.

The rider sits upright or in a semi-upright position in a kind of bobsled, which is equipped with a joystick in its center, with which the sled can be controlled but which mainly serves as a holding device. With this sled, several passengers can whiz down parallel side-by-side slide lanes, racing each other. Moreover, because of the lightweighted material, children can independently transport their sleds back to the start and therefore a conveyor is not nessesary. To install  SKLIDE, operators only need a small space, but it requires well-prepared ground without counter-slopes and a flat braking and landing surface.

For years now, we had been looking for something new to introduce in the leisure business, alongside TUBBY and SKIDDY, which are stilll reference products in this market.
