Soft Opening of New Mall of Qatar

Last Saturday, the Mall of Qatar – one of Doha’s new shopping complexes – started its soft opening phase. On a total area of 500,000 square meters, residents and tourists encounter a unique shopping and entertainment experience in the region with more than 500 retail, dining and café options. The offer includes a 19-screen megaplex cinema from Novo Cinemas, which is equipped with IMAX’s laser projection technology and 4D projection technology. Furthermore, guests can enjoy an 8-lane bowling alley and a multi-level family entertainment complex integrating edutainment offers (KidzMondo) and advanced gaming machines. At “Oasis” – an exclusive entertainment area – visitors can enjoy different shows the whole year.

The Mall of Qatar is situated next to the Al Rayyan FIFA 2022 stadium and is part of Qatar’s “National Vision 2030” development program. (eap)
