Soltau/Germany: Heide Park Resort with New CEO

Sabrina de Carvalho took up the position as Heide-Park Soltau GmbH’s CEO with effect from 1 June 2013. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Merlin Entertainments Group. In her new position Carvalho will manage the overall business of the Heide Park Resort including Hotel Port Royal and Holiday Camp. Peter Dunn as Financial Director and Nick MacKenzie as Managing Director Resort Theme Parks at Merlin remain in place unchanged. Carvalho takes over for Hannes W. Mairinger who had managed the park for around eleven years. The new CEO already worked at Heide Park as Sales & Marketing Director from 2003 to 2011. Prior to her new position, Carvalho was responsible for all activities of Merlin Entertainments Group’s twelve midway attractions in Germany and Austria. (eap)
