Spain: Warner Beach & Aquopolis Gearing up For Summer Season
The two water parks Aquopolis Villanueva de la Cañada and Parque Warner Beach (both in Madrid), operated by the Spanish operating group Parques Reunidos, are upgrading their visitor offer for the hot days. Parque Warner Beach, the second gate of the Parque Warner theme park, starts its summer season today with the two slide novelties “Black Manta“ and “Aquaman“. Black Manta is a 120-meter-long and 14-meter-high TornadoWAVE 45 slide, and “Aquaman“ is a FlyingSAUCER 60 – both slides were supplied by Canadian manufacturer ProSlide and were installed as a connected slide complex.
Aquopolis already started its 35th anniversary season last Friday (June 16, 2022). The park took this as a reason to expand its offerings for the youngest visitors. A spacious new children‘s area with five slides was created. These are child-friendly replicas of the park’s popular “Waikiki“, “Zigzag“, “Pistas Blandas“, “Turbolance“ and “Río Rápido“ slides. The “Tiki Island“ spray park was also added and the children‘s area is complemented by “Kangaroa“, a six-lane mat slide that starts from a height of ten meters. Here, ProSlide supplied all the innovations as well. (eap)
