Stukenbrock Hollywood and Safari Park Now Officially a “Zoo”
EU standards define precisely which prerequisites have to be fulfilled before a facility can call itself a zoo. The well loved and successful Stukenbrock Hollywood and Safari Park fulfils these regulations. It can now officially call itself a “zoo” – an “official quality signet,” as the owner Fritz Wurms noted. New construction in the animals’ area, oriented on the latest zoological insights, are planned for the elephants’ enclosure, explained Wurms. Nothing, however, will be changed over the middle term in the overall concept of the facility as a whole. (eap)
