Successful Launch of Q-Band & Internal Restructuring for Lo-Q
The newest queuing system for waterparks developed by Lo-Q was already introduced to the market about one year ago (cf. EAP 2/2011). The Q-Band (previously Q-Credits) is a waterproof wristband with a special technology that enables waterpark guests to “reserve” their ride of a waterslide. This summer, the new system was successfully launched at Six Flags White Water in Marietta, GA (USA).
To support the current positive developments in this sector, Lo-Q has also done some internal restructuring. Tara Casey (formerly marketing ProSlide) is now the new Vice President – Water Parks at Lo-Q. She is supported by Frank Good as Director of Sales – North America. To drive the company’s expansion into Smartphone technology, mobile specialist Danny Jennings was also added to the team as Vice President – Single Line Attractions. (eap)
