Swarovski Crystal Worlds Draw Positive Annual Balance – Novelties in 2024
(eap) The Swarovski Kristallwelten brand experience world in Wattens, Tyrol, can look back on a pleasing year. In 2023, the destination welcomed around 560,000 visitors. This attendance figure includes a rapidly growing proportion of guests from Asian countries, which is likely due in part to the allowance of group travels to Austria by the Chinese government (which were temporarily prohibited due to Covid-19). “We have seen a steady increase in groups and individual guests from the long-distance markets since the beginning of the year and are convinced that this positive trend will continue in 2024. And the daily visit of Chinese groups to at least one of the locations in Wattens, Vienna or Innsbruck has now become the norm again,” explains the Managing Director of D. Swarovski Tourism Services GmbH, Stefan Isser.
Furthermore, there will be some novelties to discover at Swarovski Crystal Worlds in 2024. In addition to the regular offerings, the Circus Festival will take place again in the Crystal Worlds garden from July 17 in collaboration with the Roncalli Circus Theater. “The unique cooperation with the Circus Theater Roncalli always creates tangible added value for both our audience and our location and has become an integral part of the Tyrolean summer program. I am delighted that we will once again be bringing exciting and entertaining performances and a pinch of circus air to Wattens in 2024,” says Isser. In addition, the existing Chambers of Wonder “Transparent Opticity” and “Ice Passage” are to be replaced by two new ones in winter 2024. These are to be staged by an international artist under the maxim of “constant transformation”. ■
