Switzerland: Aquaparc Invests in Three Novelties to Attract More Visitors
The acquisition of the Looping Group by the investment company Ergon (cf. EAP-news from March 30th, 2016) – a subsidiary of the Belgian concern Albert Frère – opened some new perspectives for the Aquaparc in Switzerland’s town of Bouveret. The park has made an investment in three different renovation measures. The first concerns the entrance hall, which has been completely renovated and designed. Thanks to its new theming visitors now can directly step into a typical Caribbean village with its coloured bungalows and palms as well as an old colonial building hosting a store. The new theming aims to offering guests a memorable holiday experience right from the beginning of their visit. Another change has been made to the website of the parc which has been optimized in the way that information are presented in a more readable way for users. The realization of the third measure is scheduled to be opened in June this year. Pursuing the aim to optimize Bouveret’s beach for visitors, new inflatable attractions will be installed. This includes a slide of eight meters height and 35 meters length, following the park’s motto of “less waiting, more sliding”. (eap)
