Switzerland: Conny-Land Presents “Lost World“ – Updated Family Dark Ride Unveiled

In due time for the start of this year’s outdoor season, Switzerland’s Conny-Land amusement park has renewed its existing “Dino-Attack” dark ride (from Zamperla), which now features a modern technical interactive system and a new storyline. Under its new name “Lost World” the dark ride tells the story of dinosaurs that still exist in today’s world – in a hidden cave, they are even still reproducing and the precious dino eggs need to be protected! It becomes the task of the guests to find and protect these eggs by marking as many of them as possible.

For the renewal of the dark ride, the Swiss amusement park has cooperated with the experts from Lagotronics. Besides a modern interactive shooting system, additional show elements such as lighting, audio, video and special effects create a still more genuine experience. Furthermore, hidden interactive features will surprise guests during the ride. The attraction disposes of nine cars with four seats each, the two fronts seats of each are equipped with the “egg markers”. Individual results and high scores of the day and the year are presented on a LED screen at the end of the adventure. (eap)
