TX/ US: Bolder Adventure Park Opens Its Doors in Grand Prairie
October 15 marked the grand opening of the new Bolder Adventure Park at EpicCentral Grand Prairie. EpicCentral is a huge leisure complex in the Texas city of Grand Prairie that continues to grow. In addition to the large Epic Waters (cf. EAP 3/2018) indoor water park it is also home to numerous restaurants, hotels and other attractions. Among these, since mid-October, is the newly opened Bolder Adventure Park.
On more than 6,000 square meters (66,000 square feet) of pure indoor space, visitors will find 18 attractions here. These mainly include climbing attractions such as a high ropes course, Via Ferrata climbing structures and zip lines. In addition, there are also classic indoor park offerings such as a blaster arena, bumper karts, slides and an ice-skating rink. Also, a play paradise for smaller guests with a climbing tower and slides is provided. The entrance fees for visiting the park are divided into four categories, each of which includes different attractions. Not included in these ticket options are the arcade and an archery offer.
In addition to the attractions, the indoor park also includes dining options and the possibility to host group events. Founder Paul Fontanelli spent five years working with Amusement Entertainment Management, LCC (AEM), a New Jersey-based consulting agency specializing in the amusement park industry, on the development of the facility.
