Terra Botanica Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The French theme park Terra Botanica situated in Angers (Pays de la Loire region) has dedicated itself to a very special theme, namely to the life of plants, trees and flowers. On twelve hectares of land, visitors can discover more than 500,000 plants and 5,000 species in green spaces, gardens, greenhouses and much more. This year the green destination in the Loire Valley is celebrating its tenth anniversary and at the end of September it marked this occasion with special activities and offers for its guests.

The park, which is normally open from April to October, has extended its opening hours so that this year it will also be open on the weekends of 3-4 and 10-11 October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A foretaste of the annual Autumn Festival, which traditionally marks the end of the season and this year will be held from 17 October to 1 November. Last year, the park recorded more than 330,000 visitors. (eap)
