TV Show “Race Across the World” Coming to London as Live Experience
(eap) CityDays, a provider specializing in urban tourism, will soon be presenting a new live experience format in London that is based on the British TV show “Race Across The World” produced by Studio Lambert and is designed to give visitors a new way of experiencing the English capital.
Teams of two to eight players can take part in the live experience to embark on an adventure mission together: the group is given a budget to move through the streets of London, with the aim of uncovering a number of secrets in the city in as little time as possible. Similar to an escape room game, team spirit, strategic thinking and speed are required to complete the three stages of the game. The route includes well-known sights and cultural meeting points such as pubs. After completing the tour, the team of players is placed in a ranking with other groups, whereby their position depends on both the total time required and the remaining budget.
“We are beyond excited to bring the Race Across The World experience to life in London. It’s a dream come true for fans of the show, offering them the chance to dive into the heart-pounding action and strategy that has made the show a hit. What makes this experience truly special is the unique combination of exploring London’s hidden spots while working together in a race against time. We can’t wait to see who comes out on top!,” said Tom Rymer, Founder of CityDays.
All3Media, parent organization of Studio Lambert, stated: “It’s thrilling to be able to bring this iconic TV show from Studio Lambert to life in one of the most vibrant and culturally rich cities in the world. We’re beyond excited to partner with CityDays, true pioneers in urban adventures, making them the perfect team to turn this unforgettable experience into a reality. Together, we’re giving fans the chance to immerse themselves in the heart-pounding action of Race Across The World, and it’s going to be nothing short of spectacular!”
The new experience, which is also open to children accompanied by adults, will be available from this spring. Incidentally, locals should not have any advantages on the adventure tour through the city, as local knowledge is not required. ■
