Thailand: Indoor Adventure “The Marvel Experience” Enthuses Visitors in Bangkok

In May the mobile indoor adventure “The Marvel Experience” opened near Bangkok´s Mega Bangna shopping mall. In 2014/15 the attraction already had been hosted in some US cities, in each for about four months. The joint venture between Hero Ventures (Los Angeles, USA) and Hero Experience (Thailand) made the realization of the project possible for an undetermined duration in Thailand.

Rick Licht, CEO of Hero Ventures, describes Thailand as the perfect country for the attraction as the fan base for Marvel is said to be huge there. The attraction area stretches over two hectares with many interactive multimedia elements, which invite the visitors to join their Marvel heroes (e.g. Spiderman, Captain America or Hulk) as “S.H.I.E.L.D.” agents. Special highlights are a 360° projection dome and a 4D motion ride, the latter of which was supplied by DOF Robotics. A total of six platforms, each providing 24 seats, offers visitors the possibility to join the Marvel heroes as trained agents in their fights to save the world. (eap)
