The Netherlands: ELI Play Appoints René van de Ven to New Managing Director
René van de Ven (photo) will take over the position of Managing Director at the Dutch company ELI Play, effective from September 1st, 2016. He succeeds Eric Verstappen, who had been in this position for nearly the past ten years. René van de Ven is already familiar with the organization and has gained a lot of international experience at Bosch-Rexroth. ELI Play’s shareholders, including Eric Verstappen, are confident that van de Ven will strengthen the company’s position on the market and develop its growth strategy. Verstappen will still stay involved in concept development and international sales. In 2007, ELI Play started its own production facility in Eindhoven (NL) in collaboration with the HPS Play Company; in the last year the company expanded its number of employees to 100. (eap)
