The Next Loop

Aqualand in Cologne will be the first German waterpark to build an AquaLoop with AquaRocket (Hartwigsen/Aquarena). Construction on the 54-metre long looping slide will begin in January 2009. Guests can then make a rocket start from a height of around ten metres, the peak of the looping will be at around five-and-half metres and the exciting sliding section will end in a ten-metre long landing pool. The new high-thrill water attraction is set to open in early April 2009. (eap)
