The VOID & Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield to Roll Out VR Attractions at URW Shopping Centers

Yesterday, The VOID and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) announced their partnership to bring more than 25 permanent immersive virtual reality experiences to URW shopping centers in the United States and Europe by 2022.
The first installations are scheduled to open as temporary attractions (featuring the “Star WarsTM: Secrets of the Empire” & “Ralph Breaks VR” hyper reality experiences, cf. EAP News f. 30 Nov 18) in August/September this year at Westfield World Trade Center in New York City, Westfield San Francisco Center, Westfield Santa Anita (Los Angeles) and Westfield UTC (San Diego). In the following months, the centers will open permanent The VOID locations. Additional permanent locations are planned for URW centers in cities such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Chicago, Copenhagen and Oberhausen. (eap)
