Theme Park Update: Orlando Will Entice Many Tourists in 2013
Orlando, located in the central region of U.S. state of Florida, has always been among the most popular tourist holiday regions of the world. The mecca for theme park enthusiasts will offer a multitude of new attractions, hotels, restaurants, wellness and shopping offers in 2013 and will again defend its position as most-visited holiday destination of the U.S. While SeaWorld Orlando will open its new “Antarctica” attraction (cp. EAP 1/2013), the upcoming summer will also see the opening of the “Transformers: The Ride 3D” attraction at Universal Orlando Resorts (cp. EAP 5/2012), which is already open at Universal Studios Hollywood. The attraction combines larger than life Transformers characters brought to life with life-like HD CGI media, state-of-the-art 3-D technology and amazing special effects. Visitors will be immerged into an epic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. A rather gently experience will be offered with the opening of the new “Princess Fairytale Hall” in the heart of Fantasyland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom where children can meet the beloved Disney princesses like Aurora or Cinderella.
