Therme Erding Sets New Visitor Record
(eap) Therme Erding can look back on a successful 2024. Last year, the “world’s largest thermal spa” not only celebrated its 25th anniversary with numerous events, but also set a new visitor record. A total of 1.9 million guests visited the Bavarian thermal spa in 2024. On Monday, 30 December, Managing Director Marcus Maier welcomed the 1.9 millionth guest: the Wulf family from Münster. They were delighted to receive a surprise including an overnight stay at the Hotel Victory. “1.9 million visitors show that our concept of relaxation, wellness and leisure fun is well received by our guests. We are delighted that Therme Erding plays such a central role in the leisure activities of so many people,” said Maier.
At the end of the year, it was also announced that Therme Erding had been sold to the internationally active Therme Group (see EAP news of 10 Dec 2024). “The takeover by Therme Group opens up numerous opportunities for us to further expand Therme Erding as a leading wellness and leisure destination,” emphasised Therme manager Marcus Meyer, looking positively to the future. ■
