Tiki Pool, Duinrell: New Slide for 75th Anniversary

The new water slide “X-stream” opened at Tiki Pool at the Dutch amusement park Duinrell in the occasion of the park’s 75th anniversary at the beginning of May 2010. The 16.4-meter long slide from Van Egdom starts seven meters off the ground in a starting unit that has an angle of 70 degrees. In this rocket-like, glass start unit, the other visitors are able to see what is going on with the rider shortly before the floor drops and he falls into a crystal clear chute.
