Timbalaya – New Outdoor Experience Concept for the Whole Family
This past mid-November Timbalaya Ltd headquartered in the USA published its new outdoor experience concept “Timbalaya”. The concept is based on a series of children’s books set in the imaginary land of Timbalaya and can be implemented by interested investors in the framework of a franchise or license agreement. The outdoor facilities will be created as mid-sized visitor attractions in natural environments such as woods. The parks’ main target group are families with children. Focusing on playing in nature, the facilities will feature playing devices including climbing courses and water games. Furthermore, Timbalaya Ltd aims at developing children’s creativity and imagination by offering puzzles. Performance stages will also be part of the parks. According to Timbalaya Ltd’s operators, Nick Farmer, Sylvia Matiko, Rosalind Johnson and Simon Egan, who all built careers within the visitor experience sector, the first Timbalaya facilities might be opened in 2017. Investors have the possibility to establish Timbalaya experience parks at suitable locations all over the world. Depending on the location, an investment volume of at least 5 million US dollars (around 4.6 million euros) is necessary to open a park. This week, Timbalaya Ltd presents its concept at IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida, USA at booth 2075. (eap)
