(eap) The ground-breaking ceremony for a major construction project took place today at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill near Stuttgart, Germany. An experience restaurant, conference facilities, a new reception, an outdoor water playground and a wellness area with a swimming pool are to be built on an area of around 10,000 square meters in front of the entrance to the Wildparadies (Tripsdrill’s animal park). While the new restaurant will also be open to non-park visitors, the new wellness area with sauna and swimming pool will serve as an additional offer for overnight guests at the park. Furthermore, the tree house hotel in the nature resort is to be extended by 20 new tree houses in the future.

The new facility will be designed in the style of a historic farmhouse. For more than 95 years, Tripsdrill has been taking up the history of Swabia around 1880 in the theming of the park. “With this unique focus, very special areas are created time and again. It therefore made sense to continue this concept for our new construction project at the gates of the Wildparadies. And what could fit better with the proximity to nature and animals than the theme of a historic farm?” explains Managing Director Roland Fischer.

The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2027. Around 25 trades are involved in the construction – primarily companies from the region. LIST Bau Stuttgart is responsible for the construction planning and management. ■
