Tropical Islands / Krausnick: GO for the Construction of the Vacation Resort

At the end of November Tropical Islands in Brandenburg announced “the race is on” and finally started the construction of the first holiday houses. The investor is the German-Danish Planet-Group, one of the biggest vacation homes suppliers of Denmark and North Germany. The first houses at the holiday village which is next to Tropical Islands should be habitable by Easter 2010. The investment volume for the first construction phase runs at around 20 million euros. According to the new investor, 109 vacation homes will be built until the end of the next year. Step by step and within four years, 439 houses will be constructed in total. The renting will be carried out by Novasol, Europe’s well-known vacation home agency. Potential investors can already reserve individual objects during the first phase. All in all, with the kick-off for the vacation resorts construction, Tropical Islands made a good step into the future with the aim of becoming an attractive short-term destination. (eap)
