UAE: Dubai Holding Entertainment Appoints Fernando Eiroa as CEO
According to an official announcement made today, Fernando Eiroa has been named CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment Group. Bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the experiential entertainment industry, Eiroa had most recently led the U.S.-based CircusTrix group (developer & operator of indoor activity parks as well as franchisor), also in the position as CEO (cf. EAP News of 7 June 2019). Prior to that, Eiroa had been serving for many years at the Spanish operator group Parques Reunidos in various management and board positions, from 2016 until his resignation in 2018 also as its Managing Director (cf. EAP News 8 Oct 2018). In his new role, Eiroa will continue to drive Dubai Holding Entertainment’s innovation strategy. Likewise, he will be responsible for achieving operational excellence aimed at ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction at the entertainment facilities and attractions belonging to the holding company. Dubai Holding Entertainment’s portfolio includes facilities such as the recently inaugurated Giant Wheel Ain Dubai (read also our special feature on “Wheels worldwide” in EAP 6/21), the Global Village, Dubai Parks & Resorts, ARN and Roxy Cinemas.
