UAE: Grand Opening of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi
After a construction period of three years, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island officially opens its doors to visitors today. The new indoor theme park, which covers an area of over 15 hectares (1.65 million square feet) comprising six theme areas with a total of 29 rides and attractions (c.f. EAP news from April 19th, 2018), is the fourth leisure facility of the Arab development company Miral Asset Management on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. The new park complements the offer of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and the indoor activity park CLYMB. With SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Miral is developing another destination on Yas Island, with its opening scheduled for 2022 (cf. EAP news from December 13th, 2016).
