UAE: IMG Worlds of Adventure to Officially Open Today

After another delay of two weeks, today will see the long anticipated opening of the IMG Worlds of Adventure, one of the newest indoor theme parks in Dubai (cp. EAP news from December 1, 2015). Owned by Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group (IMG Group), the park features four themed areas: “Marvel“, “Lost Valley“, “CN Cartoon Network“ and “IMG Boulevard“. Numerous manufacturers and design/theming companies have been involved in the project. Guests can look foward to a unique array of rides and attractions, including rollercoasters, dark rides and 3D adventures, among others. Additionally, the fully air-conditioned complex is home to a twelve-screen multiplex cinema, a variety of themed retail stores as well as exclusive dining venues. According to its initiators, the park has a capacity to welcome more than 20,000 guests per day. As part of City of Arabia, IMG Worlds of Adventure is one key element of a multi billion US dollar retail, residential, commercial and entertainment destination project.
