UAE: MOTIONGATE Re-Opens Today as First Park of Dubai Parks and Resorts

Today sees the reopening of the MOTIONGATE™ Dubai theme park and the Lapita™ theme hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts, which had to shut down their operations on March 31st this year due to the corona pandemic. The Hollywood-based park and the Polynesian-themed hotel reopen now with enhanced safety measures in-line with industry standards and government safety guidelines. Being certified as a “Dubai Assured“ compliant destination, temperature checks and face masks will be mandatory for guests, social distancing measures apply everywhere on the park and hotel grounds, enhanced disinfection procedures will be in place and contactless payment is available throughout the park. Previous online booking of the tickets is required for all visitors as the park has to operate at a limited capacity.

Denis Pascal, General Manager of the Parques Reunidos-operated Motiongate Dubai, says: “2020 has been a tough year for all, however we look forward to witnessing the joy, laughter and thrilled screams of our guests, as we begin to create amazing memories again.
