UAE: SEVEN Announces Construction Start of Entertainment Center in Tabuk
Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) has announced the start of construction of a new entertainment center in Tabuk, a city in the northwestern part of the kingdom. Over one billion Saudi riyal (approximately 245 million euros) is being invested by SEVEN in the creation of the new facility, which is part of SEVEN’s 50 billion SAR (approximately 12.5 billion euros) investment in 21 entertainment destinations in the country. Over 72,500 square meters of building space is to be created on over 40,000 square meters of land area. The majority of this area (78%) is to be used for entertainment facilities, although restaurants (14%) and retail outlets (8%) are also to be represented. A total of eight different entertainment areas are planned. Amongst others, a Family Entertainment Center with video, VR and arcade games, and for younger guests, a Junior FEC for children aged three to nine. Here they can enjoy interactive games, video games and kiddie rides. In addition, there will be a Discovery Adventures edutainment facility in cooperation with Warner Bros. Discovery – as also announced for the SEVEN Entertainment Centre Al Hamra. US-American toy manufacturers Mattel will also be present at the center with a “Hot Wheels”-inspired e-kart track. In addition, an event hall for events and live shows is to be built, as well as a cinema, a bowling center and a twelve-hole adventure golf course. (eap)
