UK: “Star Wars“ Hyper Reality Experience Moving to Second Location in London
At the Westfield London shopping mall located in London’s Shepherd Bush city district, customers have been able to enjoy the “Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire” hyper reality experience since the end of 2017. Thanks to its success, the VR attraction, which was created by The VOID in cooperation with ILMxLAB (Lucasfilm) and which can also be found at several locations in the USA (amongst others in Disney Springs/Orlando and Downtown Disney/Anaheim, cf. EAP news f. January 10th, 2018), will soon move to the Westfield Stratford City shopping mall where it will start operating on March 29th this year.
The venue, which is also operated by Westfield Corporation, is located around one hour by car from the Westfield London mall. In the so-called hyper reality experience, players enter a virtual Star Wars universe, in which they encounter popular Star Wars characters. Besides the interaction with co-players, visitors will be able to move freely, hear, touch, feel and even smell the virtual environment.
