UK: Chessington World of Adventures to Open New Family-Friendly Theme Area in March 2020

Chessington World of Adventures Resort, located in Chessington/UK, provides family-fun with the combination of a zoo and leisure park experience. In March 2020 the Merlin Entertainments-operated park will open its new “Rainforest“ theme area. Dedicated to families with kids, the area will feature numerous themed attractions such as the “Jungle Rangers“ car ride, the “River Rafts“ mini-log flume, where visitors board on a crocodile shaped boat, and the “Treetop Hoppers“ mini-drop towers.

The new theme area is inspired by the park’s rainforest conservation work and is supposed to inform visitors about this topic. In addition, “Elmer’s Flying Dumbos“ flying carousel, which is dedicated to “Elmer“ (the “patchwork elephant“, a popular children‘s book character by author David McKee) will also open in March at another location in the park.
