UK: New Peter Rabbit Attraction in Blackpool Now Open

A week ago, PETER RABBITTM: Explore and Play, one of the newest stand-alone attractions of British operator Merlin Entertainments (Merlin), was officially opened in England’s seaside resort of Blackpool (see EAP news of 26 Nov 2021).
In the attraction, which opened right next to the Madame Tussauds waxwork museum on Blackpool Promenade, children can immerse themselves in the world of “Peter Rabbit” and his friends by experiencing various adventures in several themed areas, trying out games and even meet the characters themselves.
Created at a cost of one million British Pounds, the attraction, based on the world-famous animated series produced by Silvergate Media, heralds the year-long anniversary celebrations marking Peter Rabbit’s 120th birthday. The Peter Rabbit attraction is the first in a series of new experiences that Merlin will launch in Blackpool as part of its investment strategy in the coming years. (eap)
