The international design and realization company Scruffy Dog Creative Group, based in London and Barcelona, has announced the hiring of two new employees in senior positions. Started in the film and TV industry, the company now specializes mainly on theme parks, resorts and attractions, water parks, FECs, dark rides, museums, zoos, aquariums and live events. Founded in 2008, Scruffy Dog not only designs elements and attractions for its international clients, but also produces them itself in its halls in Birmingham. In the future, the team at the office location in London will be supported by Paul Williams and Malik Al Asadi.

Paul Williams already has 29 years of professional experience in the field and has led the development of attractions and live experiences for major companies such as DreamWorks, Disney, Warner Brothers and many more. Going forward, he will serve as senior creative director at Scruffy Dog. “I have always admired the incredible creativity and high standards of production that Scruffy Dog Creative Group consistently delivers within the global visitor attractions industry. I feel honoured to be collaborating with their brilliant team of talented artists, experienced designers, and creative producers to lead the way in creating unique, exciting, and innovative new experiences that will entertain people all over the World,“ Williams himself commented on his hiring at Scruffy Dog.

Malik Al Asadi, who previously worked at Universal Creative Japan, DXB Entertainments and CSM live, now starts with his 15 years of experience as senior project manager at the Scruffy Dog Creative Group. “I see this new role as a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an exciting, forward-thinking, and fast-moving company. I look forward to using my experience, identifying, designing, and deploying innovative technologies that improve systems, reduce costs, and increase productivity in the creative build division.“ CEO Joe Bright is also excited to have their support in future projects, saying, “As a company we are continuing to grow, so it was key to strengthen our team throughout the group. Malik, and Paul both have an exemplary record in the themed entertainment sector, and their experience both operationally, and creatively will support the development of our forthcoming projects.” (eap)
