UK/FR/China: Triotech to Design and Build Dynamic Platforms for Puy du Fou Experience SAGA in Shanghai
In the Chinese metropolis of Shanghai, a new type of Puy du Fou show will be staged in the form of “SAGA” – the opening was originally planned for 2022. The newly developed immersive show concept, which will be held at the Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center in Shanghai and cover more than 40,000 square meters in the form of a walkthrough attraction, is expected to immerse more than 3,500 visitors per day in 1930s Shanghai. Due to the pandemic, the opening of the new immersive experience has been delayed until early 2023. Provider Triotech today announced at IAAPA Expo Europe in London that the Canadian company’s European division in France has been commissioned to design and build seven dynamic platforms that will simulate a real size train and other transportation vehicles with numerous special effects and media to transport visitors into the experience.
“Puy du Fou is clearly a leader in their segment. They have a unique offering and are quite simply, unparalleled at what they do”, said Ernest Yale, President and CEO of Triotech. He added “We are excited to be working with this world-class organisation.”
“Puy du Fou visited our offices in Rennes, FR, and we had very creative and fruitful discussions with our respective teams” mentioned Christophe Lucchini, Managing Director for Triotech’s CL Corp Division. (eap)
