USA: „Storyliving by Disney“ to offer Disney-style Residential Living in the Future

Leisure resorts, cruise ships, package tours, streaming service – there’s hardly a line of business that The Walt Disney Company doesn’t serve yet, which doesn’t mean cutting back for the entertainment giant... on the contrary. As was announced recently, Disney will develop new residential communities in the coming years with its newly created business unit “Storyliving by Disney”. Properties are already being surveyed throughout the USA for this purpose. In Rancho Mirage, California, adjacent to the Coachella desert, the first Storyliving community with the name “Cotino” will be developed – here also Walt Disney and his wife had already spent their spare time. In addition to residential space, a hotel is also to be built there. In the usual Disney manner, leisure activities are not to be neglected, so the master plan also provides for extensive shopping, dining and entertainment facilities. Another highlight will be a spacious turquoise lagoon from the Chilean manufacturer Crystal Lagoons.
