USA: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Announces “Serengeti Flyer” Swing Ride for 2023

The Florida-based animal and theme park Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, will launch the “Serengeti Flyer” swing ride as next year’s novelty at the beginning of the 2023 season, as the park has now announced via its social media channels. The ride is said to become “the tallest and fastest attraction of its kind in the world” until to date with a height of more than 135 feet (> 41 metres) and a maximum speed of nearly 68 mph (just under 110 km/h). Passengers take a seat in one of the two gondolas and swing backwards and forwards ever higher, with negative g-forces ensuring thrill. A similar ride of this type from S&S named “Tidal Surge“ went into operation this year at SeaWorld San Antonio. (eap)
