USA: FoxNext Names James Finn New Executive Vice President
FoxNext, a recently-created division that works across Twentieth Century Fox Film and Fox Networks Group, has named James Finn (photo) Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing. In his new role, Finn will oversee all aspects of marketing for FoxNext, developing campaigns from creative development through commercial release across virtual reality, gaming and interactive experiences. FoxNext is driving Fox’ push to commercialize next-generation entertainment experiences by partnering with storytellers and leveraging ground-breaking technology across gaming, location-based entertainment and virtual and augmented reality productions. The division consists of FoxNext Games, FoxNext Destinations and FoxNext VR Studio. Furthermore, as Co-Head of Marketing for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, Finn will continue leading marketing communications strategies globally in the rapidly developing transactional media business. Finn will also continue oversight of marketing projects for the Fox Innovation lab.
