USA: Grand Opening of Nickelodeon Universe Indoor Park at New American Dream Retail & Entertainment Complex
As one of the main components of the future leisure offer of the new American Dream retail and entertainment complex, which is still under development at its location in East Rutherford (Bergen County, near New York City), the Nickelodeon Universe theme park opens its doors to visitors for the first time today. With over 35 rides and attractions, including two Gerstlauer coasters and a multi-storey high ropes course from Ropes Courses Inc. (cf. EAP News of 3rd Nov 2017), the new park is claimed to be the largest indoor park in the western hemisphere to date. During their visit to Nickelodeon Universe, guests will meet popular Nickelodeon characters such as “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Dora the Explorer”.
In addition to Nickelodeon Universe, the American Dream shopping mall will feature numerous other leisure facilities, including the DreamWorks Water Park (opening on 27th Nov 2019), the Big SNOW ski & snowboard park (opening on 5th Dec 2019) as well as a LEGOLAND Discovery Center and a SEA LIFE Aquarium (opening in March 2020).
