USA: Holy Land Experience Sold to Health Organisation

The Holy Land Experience in Orlando, founded by Marvin Rosenthal in 2001, where the doctrins and lores of the Bible can be experienced (cf. EAP 2/2007), was recently sold to a health organisation belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. After Rosenthal had sold the Holy Land Experience to the Trinity Broadcasting Network in 2007, the broadcasting company now gave up the approx. 15-hectare large park and museum site and transferred it to the AdventHealth organisation (formerly: Adventist HealthCare).

Since 14 March 2020, when the Holy Land Experience had to close its doors due to a pandemic, there was only a short-term opening period in April this year. Currently, the destination is closed again, development plans for its future remain uncertain. (eap)
