USA: Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort Announces New Looping Coaster for Its 90th Anniversary
On time for the 90th anniversary of the theme park this season (cf. EAP-news from November 13th, 2015), the Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort comes up with a new attraction. The new looping-reversing coaster − manufactured by Texas-based Larson International and called “Zero G” − offers guests a single loop standing five stories high with room up to 20 people. The new ride is scheduled to open at the beginning of summer season on May 27th, 2016 on the park’s Boardwalk Funway. The “Larson Loop” coaster gives riders a first idea of the thrill as it rocks back and forth before looping 360 degrees, pausing briefly to suspend riders upside down. “Indiana Beach is excited to have this new ride added to our line-up of six rollercoasters and other thrill attractions,” said John Collins, Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resorts General Manager. “With all the park improvements and upgrades being completed in preparation for Indiana Beach’s 90th anniversary season, adding a ride as thrilling as Zero G is ‘icing on the cake’,” Collings stated.
