USA: Lindsey Nelson is the TEA’s New Executive Director

Following a six-month global search process, the International Board of Directors of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has a new Executive Director – Lindsey Nelson, CAE will assume the role as of today. Nelson brings to the TEA an extensive knowledge and experience in association management, transforming organizations and increasing profitability, which she most recently demonstrated as Vice President of Operations at United Benefit Advisors (UBA). She is also well-versed in leading strategic and operational initiatives and planning, as well as growth through strategic industry partnerships.

Lindsey’s authentic approach to leadership and service to members was immediately apparent,” said Chuck Fawcett, the TEA’s International Board President. “This is an exciting time for the TEA as we are well-positioned to grow and expand our global outreach to better serve our diverse membership. Lindsey is the right leader, at the right time to get the job done!”

In her role as Executive Director, Nelson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the TEA staff and work with the International Board to develop and implement a strategic framework that will enable the association to better connect its members with one another. In addition, Nelson will also work to build relationships with members, sponsors, divisional boards, committees and taskforces, staff and key affiliate partners, as well as streamline operational processes and develop new ideas for the TEA’s future.
