USA: Madame Tussauds San Francisco Launches its First Escape Room
Today, Madame Tussauds San Francisco launches “Alcatraz – The Breakout”, the midway attraction’s first escape room. Groups of up to eight persons and aged twelve years and older can travel back to the year 1962, when the three criminals Clarence Anglin, John Anglin and Frank Morris escaped from the famous Alcatraz federal prison on the equally named island located in San Francisco Bay. In 60 minutes, teams have to solve a row of enigmas and fiddly challenges in order to successfully break out Alcatraz. The escape game was developed by Rogue Productions.
“We’re thrilled to open Madame Tussauds’ first escape room here in San Francisco. Inspired by real events and in the shadows of Alcatraz, our escape room will be funny, educational and most of all, a total blast!” said Dalia Goldgor, General Manager of Madame Tussauds San Francisco.
