USA: MediaMation Sings New Strategic Partnerships – Howard Kiedaisch Named New CEO
Torrance/California-based MediaMation company – specialist for interactive technology and system integration, known for its patented “MX4D Motion EFX” technology for theaters and seats (cf. EAP, 1/18) – has recently signed new strategic partnerships with Paris-based Volfoni S.A.S. (a supplier of 3D systems, owned by China’s Luxin-Rio group of companies) and British software developer Arts Alliance Media (AAM), another associated company of Luxin-Rio.
In 2014, MediaMation aligned itself with Luxin-Rio, which offers turnkey solutions for entertainment equipment, including sales of 3D & 4D cinematic systems. Until to date, more than 200 MX4D theaters have been installed in China. Thanks to the new partnerships with Volfoni and AAM, MediaMation will be able to offer more integrated solutions for the cinema industry in the future, including 4D cinema technology and programming, VR and ESports gaming, content and operational solutions, service support, data management and other services.
In the course of the new strategic partnerships, MediaMation has announced changes on its executive board: Howard Kiedaisch, who currently serves as Luxin-Rio’s Senior Vice President of International, has been named new CEO of the California-based company. Dan Jamele, Co-founder of MediaMation, has taken over the role as Chief Innovation and Technology Officer.
“My wife, Alison, and I founded MediaMation in 1991, literally in our garage, and cannot be more proud of the people, projects, and growth that we have seen over the years. The company is proudly moving upward and forward in our vision to surpass our endeavors,” said Jamele. Kiedaisch stated, “MediaMation has been put in a great place due to all the work of the team and with the support of Luxin-Rio and their partners, we are ready to make significant expansion in both the cinema and attractions businesses. This is only the beginning,” said Kiedaisch. (eap).
